Alright!... I had fun on xmas, getting my gun and all, and the xmas day visit with my cousins and such was quick and painless and got me 2 shirts I'll never wear and 96 bucks. Didn't hang out with the people I was supposed to. Left on the 28th for rest-of-vacation-hangout action. Twas fun on la days we didn't have to do work. Yep yep yep.

Oh, okay, cool.. so I think I've found out about me! See, what happens is, it takes me awhile to make friends (im kinda shy i suppose), but after I've made 'em, I change my personality to suit different roles. I'd act different around rob compared to ryan or laura. Most people have a little of this in them, but some don't. These are the i don't care what others think of me types. Idk, maybe I'm just crazy or sumthin.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I present to you... the update.
Yes, I have decided to update my journal, true.
I recently built a mortar (as in today) and tested it quite a bit. I made 5 .12 lb copper/cardboard slugs (~52 gram) that rob and I shot through the air. We pumped the thing up to ~67 psi and, at a 10deg angle, shot them. I could see them go up around, what I am guessing to be, 200 feet into the air. Quite impressive. They went 40'-60' from the launch base at this incredibly high angle, which is also impressive. Especially considering there's only ~46^3 inches of compression chamber. I hope to make a new version with a 4' long barrel (this one has a 3' barrel) and a ~120^3 inch, 4" x 3' compression chamber (just less than 3 times as much as the current model)

So.. today was... akward. I don't know why either.. I'm just feeling.. jealous?
A lot of people are rediculous that I know... and I hang around a lot of people that don't know or like eachother... and I used to be embarrassed by some of the other friends I had... which is mean, and I'm trying to change that. Starting with kenny. THere was no reason ot hate kenny... so I apologized to him today, and that's good. Hopefully I can enjoy being around him from now on.
I get to go hang out with friends today, starting with goign to robs around 5. We're gonna build forts and play airsoft with a bunch of people (as far as my wishes go).
I hope I get to hang out with madision, chelsea, liz, laura, ryan, bob, shawn, scott, brian, dave, leon, dave, nick and more over the break. I really do.

Yesterday it snowed. Yes. Snowed. Like, 6 inches when it was only uspposed to be like 3-5. Well, I took the snowblower to it, so that's all that matters... kidna annihilated it all in a series of swoops up and down the driveway. Fun shiznit, except that it got gummed up twice and I had to clean it out. Rob called apparently, so I could have hung out with him and built snow forts :-/
Instead, I just stayed home and did little to call productive.

YEAH... so, today, everything started out better than normal, besides the coffee and the shower; I did my work in art and in comp. prog. indep. study, and then it was off to health.
In health, I kinda repeatedly fell into a daydream complex and couldn't get any work done. Luckily, Tom Hildebrandt was all like "just copy what you have and I'll do the rest when I get home," which was completely awesome. We had to do a really annoying powerpoint in health. Poo.
Then I went to lunch and ate and such, and all was fine. But at the start of 5th hour precalc, kenny comes in and theres all this dumb shit goin on about him and being kenny (which can be many a dumb action.) Yeah... I was instantly as angry as possible. It kinda scared me, 'cause, normally, I'm angry at kenny for existing, but today, I was more angry than usual... idk.
I went to Rob's to hang out after school. We did pretty much nothing (like usual :),) but his sister was being a bitch. Again, yes, she is one all the time, but this time, more than usual. When we came home, she just flipped us the bird and then went to her room. When we were playing our music, she just came in and shut it off. Later, his mom came home, and immediately wanted me to go home because of all the chaos between jessica and rob. Ugh. Die.

So, um, yeah.
Yesterday, I went to Rob's house with my laptop. No, I wasn't supposed to bring it, but oh-well. We played halo like madmen until laura called. She just kept talking and talking about the horses on TV and rob and I were cracking up. Then she came over, and we hung out for awhile. Rob ran out of chips, so that was lame, but we didn't really stay around for too too long. Instead, we took his dawg on a wawk, came back, and left for sleding. Sleding was fun; I pretty much destroyed myself a few times. We did stuff where we all linked together to go down; it was fun.
Laura's gonna teach me how to snowboard so I can be cool. The thing is, I don't have any money to go places and board, so I'll have to find a job to be had.

WEll, I'm missing my math book. Thought I was missing my calculator too, but nope, just my book! Oh yeah, and, did I metion that I'm doomed in art class? I have to do a self portrait and about 9 other GOOD drawings. That means, I'll have to do A DRAWING EVERY TWO DAYS, starting this weekend. I'm pretty sure a decent still life could be done in about 4-8 hours... damn I'm screwed.

Other than that, I can't wait until christmas! I know I've told everyone this 152a125 (yes thats an 'a') times, but I MIGHT GET A WE FULL METAL HI CAPACITY SEMI AUTO GAS GUN, which is, from what I can tell, a replica of the colt 1911, which is a .45 cal pistol from the world war two era. It's gonna be sweet.
Rob and I are supposed to go jogging today as part of our millitary regimen. I just have to find out other stuff the military does.

I'm pretty sure someone can become depressed due to their biology ( i.e. eat the wrong things, get injured, etc.) and that is why I'm depressed. But yeah, I am... I feel like I'm doomed in school, and that I'm never gonna get anyone or anywhere in life. Oh well, who needs life anyways?

So... I had fun? That's the fastest way of sayin' it. You're a submarine that likes to dig deep in the water? Oh..
So yeah, On friday I went to sir eggert's house, and did the 'spend the night' action for 15 points. While I was there, we simply halo'd it up for 19 points. I rock pretty solid with the ghost, running people (like chris) over non-stop, which I'm sure can be annoying as all hell (-5 points), but totally not cheating!!
Chris got the movies via me, laura, ryan, bob, chelsea and brooke (maybe brooke? idk, there were six people that chipped in) for +20 points. We all chipped in at some point or another, and made various movies of vaious sizes at various times. Twas great. We also took food and ingested it like lions (+2 points), tigers (+2 points), and bears (+2 points).. oh my. The food was pretty delish until the next day, when it was all soggy and gross (the subs; -4 points). The icecream was awesome, and so was the cake.. but we forgot to sing happy birthday (+8/-2 points.
I was pretty annoyed when I woke up at 8 and couldn't do much of anything I wanted because they were all sleeping in till 12:30!! (-5 points) Geez, made if I, too, stayed up till 7:30 playing videogames I wouldnt have been up at 8... whatever.
All in all, it was a pretty fun weekend, for 50 points. I don't know what the points are for, but I figured I just have them in there for sentimental purposes or something....

So, yesterday rob and tim and I all hung out. We pretty much played airsoft. Brian said that airsoft is a homosexual sport, so tim shot him with his new gun. Later, brooke came over. Tim kept threatening her with his gun; it was so mean. She clearly was scared. Idk, I guess we really can be bad judges sometimes.

So I hung out with my friends yesterday. Laura's pretty awesome. The only problem is she broke all the airsoft guns ^.^. It was funny, cause she'd try using it and it wouldn't work, so we'd fix it and have it ready to work, and she'd try it again and it wouldn't work. I don't know, it was screwed up. After we played airsoft (and laura attempted to) we went inside to destroy rob's salsa and chips collection, at which time tim came over. He has a new desert eagle magnum. Let's put it this way: for a springer, it rocks. After we player around with that we had to go to the school to pack drums. They brought their airsoft guns though, so I don't know if we're goin to see them ever again or if their in jail :-P |
